Georg Krause
FOUNDER
My name is Georg Krause and I am a German teacher and director of Palmaleman. I was born and raised in Innsbruck, in western Austria. I have dedicated the last 10 years of my life to teaching German as a foreign language. I have worked as a German teacher in Austria, Italy and Spain, among others for the Goethe-Zentrum Genova and Komalingua Civitanova Marche. I speak, write and read Spanish, English, Italian and French fluently.
Education
I graduated in Political Science and Italian Philology at the University of Innsbruck. At the University of Lyon I obtained the Certificat d’Études Politiques. I also completed a methodology and teaching course in teaching German as a foreign language at the Goethe-Institut in Munich. In 2006 I passed the Austrian certified tour guide exam in German, English, Spanish, Italian and French. The following year I passed the EBCL (European Business Competence License) exam. This training enables me to understand economic concepts, know how to analyze real contexts, be competent in decision making and have economic criteria. Throughout my professional career I have participated in numerous training courses that allow me to offer my students a wide range of teaching methods.

Hello future students! My name is Christina Payer. I am a teacher of German. I was born and raised in Carinthia, in southern Austria. I have dedicated the last 3 years of my life to teaching German as a foreign language in Palma de Mallorca. I have worked as a Conversation Assistant and German Teacher in several schools and colleges in Palma. German is my mother tongue, I also have a very broad knowledge of English (both spoken and written), a B2 level in Spanish and basic knowledge of Italian.
Education
I graduated in Primary Education at the Hochschule KPH-Strebersdorf in Vienna. I also did a Master of Art Studies in Waldorfpädagogik and I am currently doing another Master in Vocational Training and Adult Training at Klagenfurt University / Austria. I also completed several training courses during my studies and in the years worked.

Hello! My name is Silke and I have lived most of my life between Germany and Honduras, so Spanish and German are my mother tongues. I have also lived 2 years in Australia and almost 8 in Spain. 5 years ago I came to Mallorca, making this beautiful island my home from the first day. I have professional experience in all the countries where I have lived, in areas such as tourism, commerce and non-profit foundations. Teaching is one of my passions. I gave my first German class 8 years ago; I have also carried out staff training in some of my previous positions.
Education
I have a degree in Business Administration from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and a degree in Economic Sciences -with a focus on tourism- at the University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. In Germany I have also been certified as a life coach and as an apprentice trainer. I am currently training as a Holistic Health Coach at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York.

Hi! My name is Aina and I am a Spanish teacher. I am from Palma de Mallorca, Spain, I have also lived in Stuttgart and Sydney, five and eight months respectively. I have several years of experience as a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language, as well as a teacher of English and German.
Education
I graduated from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona with a degree in Translation and Interpreting and later specialized in legal and economic translation in both English and German. I have several courses in business translation in German-Spanish and the title of the master’s degree “Specialized translation: legal and economic in German” at ISTRAD.
